Director-Professor Rodriguez is a proud member of NAADAC © - National Association for Addictions Professionals, American Psychological Association APA ©, he is also trusted and verified by Psychology Today ©. Today, Professor Rodriguez has over 19 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, co-occurring disorders, criminal offenders, and families in treatment facilities thru-out Florida and the Northeast.  Professor Rodriguez specializes in addictions and mental health disorders; in particular, psychosis, mood, trauma, sexuality, and family of origin issues.  Professor Rodriguez is Board Certified & Licensed in Florida as a Master's Level Addictions Professional, Mental Health Professional, Criminal Justice Counselor, Addictions Professional, and Preventions Specialist. 

 

Professor Rodriguez holds an Education Specialist in Clinical Mental Health, he holds a Master's & Bachelor's degrees from Union Institute & University in Clinical Addictions & Mental Health, with a focus on Human & Psychological Development, his graduate studies included Educational Psychology & Social Justice.

 

He has continued to enhance his clinical skills in areas of couples counseling, neuroscience, biological psychology, human development, criminology, human sexuality, and behavioral analysis. Professor Rodriguez provides individual, group therapy and, relationship & couple's therapy in private practice.

 

As a therapist, he loves helping individuals with addictions, and/or mental health issues to identify a well-balanced happy life. "I am excited to teach, mentor, and prepare a new generation of addictions professionals."

Professor Harilal has over 10 years experience working with patients with co- occuring disorders.Her knowledge in several areas of case management, addiction counseling and family sessions. Ms Harilal has her Masters in Psychology, CRRA and CMHP. Ms. Harilal assists with being in compliance with DCF and Joint Commission.

Linden has a great passion for teaching future counselors the tools to be successful in their endeavors. She brings a wealth of clinical experience to our curriculum.
